ABOUT FAW

China First Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (short for FAW), formerly China First Automobile Works, was completed and put into operation in 1956, producing the first truck (Jiefang brand) in New China. The completion of FAW marked the beginning of the history of the automotive industry in New China.
After 70 years of development, China FAW has established five major production bases in Northeast China, North China, East China, South China, and Southwest China, and has established a global R&D layout. Its sales volume ranks first in the Chinese automotive industry.
Faw Jiefang has the strongest independent research and development system in China. It is one of the commercial vehicle enterprises that master the core technologies of world-class whole vehicles and three major powertrain systems. It has passed ISO9001, IATF16949, and the national military standard 9001B quality system certification.It is a national level independent automotive product research and development and testing certification base.
